This one’s been floating around the net for a while and I don’t know who to credit it to so help out if you know the guilty parties. I converted it from mpeg to flv for viewing with Flash. It’s a great clip of a daytime carrier landing shot from the right seat of a Viking. If you felt cheated after staring the Hornet pilot in the face while all the action was behind you, this should set you straight. From the “downwind” position to the “trap”, this gives you a good feel for the ride.

The Viking really does sound exactly like a vacuum.
Nice trap!
I only wish you were turning a pair of Wright R-1820s, but back then in-cockpit videos were not yet do-able.
