Now for the Rest of the Story

U.S. Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Affectionately known as GITMO it is a US base leased under treaty from the Cuban government and lays claim to the oldest US Navy base on foreign soil. Most people have at least heard of it by now and probably assume that it’s a bad place where our government tortures suspected terrorists based on the slant provided by the MSM. A blogger by the name of Patterico is about to correct that bias with a series of interviews with an Army Major who served as a nurse at GITMO and had daily contact with the detainees.

I know Zarqawi, the terrorist said to the American. I am going to have Zarqawi cut off your family’s head while you watch. Then he will cut off your head.

Part One: Introduction
