The latest taped threat supposedly from OBL takes Europe to task over the cartoon mess. The basic message being if we insist on exercising our freedom of speech in such offensive ways then we must accept the responsibility for a violent reaction. (Sorry, but no.)Â
NBC reported that this latest message was likely an effort by OBL et al to remain relevant in the ongoing conflict and keep the pot of hatred stirred up. Relevant? If memory serves me correctly, the Mohamed cartoons were first published back in 2005.
