Actually spotted one of these up close and personal on the road yesterday.
Tooling along amidst the multi-ton SUV’s it begs the question: “Does it come with a burial policy?” At least the EMS guys won’t have to wait for the jaws of life, a leatherman tool will do.
I’d rather be on two wheels with the power and maneuverability to get out of the way.

I have a smart fortwo cabrio. It works great for me living in South Florida. I got rid of my bike and bought this. The other drivers were scaring me!

The Smart Car I pulled up next to the other day was tiny compared to everything around it including a Mini Cooper. Until rising fuel costs force Americans to reconsider their taste in vehicles it will be a while before we get to the European standard of small cars with loud horns. I can certainly understand why you ditched the bike – seems they’re invisible and the only defense is offense!
