Commercial Air Travel

by Steve on July 21, 2010

I long for the day when I have time and means to either hit the road for a few weeks at a leisurely pace or fly myself. Waterboarding has nothing over flying in the can on regionals. I would have told you anything you wanted to know by the end of the day just for the chance to stretch out.

Nothing against my buds up front at the controls (Gordo’s the smart one – boxes don’t care) but the industry has degenerated along with the society it abuses.

To top off the trip, Delta who now charges for checked bags and had 3 hours in LGA to make the transfer, left the wife’s bag behind. It’s about 120 miles from Bangor, ME to our little corner of paradise in the north woods. I pity the poor bugger that finally shows with her hair dryer.

unfortunately, the guy who shows much of the time is _not_ an employee of Delta, NWA, etc., take your pick but a contract employee.

Probably wearing a Second Chance vest too, if he’s been doing it for more that, uh, one day.

Always enjoy the dog articles (looking at my screen saver of Sam, gone since last November).
