I caught a snip on the news this morning regarding the dangers of sledding. Hmmmm, had no idea that throwing yourself down an icy hill at high speed head first might be dangerous. It seems there are several communities that are considering banning the practice. Presumably government knows best.
If we continue to remove the risk from living, Darwin’s theories will no longer apply and we will all die of boredom.
What’s next? Summer “bobsledding” down the driveway in Radio Fliers? (That’s a red wagon for those that don’t remember the pre-computer world.)
I feel the need to ride my mountain bike without a helmet! ????
